$4.88 million energy efficiency grant award
Bainbridge Island and Bremerton will get nearly $5 million from the Department of Energy for residential energy efficiency. Funding came from the American Recovery Reinvestment Act of 2009 in a highly competitive grant process. Habitat for Humanity Takes the Solar Plunge in Suquamish
