COMMUNITY SOLAR POWER

People learn from what they see around them. Our society's lopsided reliance on fossil fuels has left much to be desired. This is due to no small part to a lack of observable alternatives. Our efforts in placing renewable energy systems prominently in communities through our Community Solar Program will help set a course for change.

Community Energy Solutions helps communities to lower their carbon footprint by creating highly visible and long-lasting solar electrical (photovoltaic) and solar thermal systems of meaningful size. With no moving parts, noise or pollution, these long lasting energy systems convert sunshine into electricity, or hot water heating for many years. This will increase people's awareness of the viability of solar power. Most importantly, community-based systems will lead to greater empowerment and a stronger long-term commitment to sustainable energy practices.
